Atto Community Update: Oct 2021

Atto HQ 🏡

October was another big month at Atto!

We announced our partnership with Microsoft for Startups. Microsoft for Startups provides entrepreneurs and founders of startups with the cloud resources and mentoring they need in their journey from idea to exit. Microsoft for Startups will provide a range of benefits to Atto founders from our accelerator program and our Atto Academy members, Atto alumni, and future Atto founders will also be able to access the benefits. Read the full announcement here.

We hosted our monthly public masterclass with Cathy Ngo about how to effectively share your founder story with inclusive language, humour and good storytelling.

We wrote about the Benefits of Masterminds for Female Founders and had rave responses from our community about how we’ve helped them progress. Read the full blog post here

During Spark Fest’s biggest event this year, Atto’s Program Manager Lana Weal pitched Atto in <2mins! Watch Lana’s pitch here.

Atto’s founder Kate Kendall was featured in NAB’s business news talking about how to turn ideas into business reality. “I see so many founders fail to validate their idea with customers, and focus on product and marketing too early. Some have even spent tens of thousands of dollars building a product without validating the idea.” Read the NAB Business View article here.

Atto Accelerator 🚀

We’re over halfway through our 12-week Accelerator program now. So far, our founders have learned about customer validation, building MVPs, no-code tools, and growth marketing. In our final month, our Masterclasses are covering company culture, community and alternative forms of funding.
