Atto Community Update: November 2020

With so many incredible wins happening over in the Atto Accelerator 2020 program, we thought it was high time we shared them with the wider Atto community. Here’s what’s been happening with our female founders over the last couple of months.

Founder & Alumni Wins

Jen, The FemFit
This month Jen has seen The FemFit successfully registered with the TGA and had an article published about the device in The New Zealand Herald.

Lizzie, Lingogo
Lizzie’s platform for Indigenous stories and languages, has launched in 55 Auckland libraries.

Vanessa, Flock to the Country
Vanessa had her first unsolicited partnership/collaboration enquiry from a peak Australian agricultural body.

Liisa, Nudge Me
Liisa got her MVP up and running and is starting to get her first inquiries from clients and coaches.

Sophia, Thero
Thero was promoted (by someone Sophia doesn’t know!) to a music teacher email list and private Facebook group. 30 extra email sign ups, and survey forms, came through.

Hannon (Atto 2019), AirRobe
Hannon announced their $1.28M AUD seed raise this month. A great no-code success story from Atto that went onto Startmate and more.

Member Focus: Jenny Le & Pamela Yip, Bubble Tea Club
When Pam and Jenny were stood down from their jobs because of COVID they found themselves with extra time on their hands and a constant craving for bubble tea. This perfect storm turned itself into Bubble Tea Club (BTC), an ecommerce business satisfying Australia’s thirst for bubble tea. Now Jenny and Pam are getting ready to move into the next stage of BTC – subscriptions.

“We had the idea for a subscriptions when we first started out but we just hadn’t got round to it, until we spoke to Kate earlier this month,” says Jenny. “Kate showed us examples of other successful websites doing subscriptions, which gave us some great insight to how we could model it and put it on our landing page.”

BTC is gearing up for launch day and starting to roll it out to its 2.3K Facebook community. You heard it here first.
